Type: Olivine-Hypersthene Chondrite L5
One of the larger and, unfortunately, less known finds in the U.S.S.R.
This meteorite was found in 1968 and was saved, for some
reason, though it was not recognized as a meteorite until 9 years
later, in 1979. Being an L5, it shows signs of pressure change,
also it virtually has no undamaged chondrules; most have been heat
altered. This fall may have occurred on December 6,1922 at 0700 hrs.
In all 28 masses, totaling 1131.7kg were reported found in the
fields at the site of the location. The largest mass found weighed 284kg.
