Location: De Baca County

Type: Olivine Bronzite Chondrite H4

In 1972 a single meteorite, with a mass of 5350 grams, was discovered by a
rancher while herding cattle. He kept it for nearly 30 years before seeing
a "meteorite wanted" poster. Analysis quickly showed he had indeed found
a meteorite. Further searches of the area have not turned up additional
specimens. This meteorite was not recognized until June 2001.
