Tatahouine fell in Tunisia on June 27, 1931 at 0130 AM. The strange meteorite
exploded low in the atmosphere. It shattered into many small angular pieces that
fell over a radius of 500 meters, 4 kilometers NE of the village. Tatahouine is
very rare in large fragments, the vast majority being only in the sub-gram range.
About 13.5 kilograms were collected.
