Name: Dimmitt
Location: Castro County, Texas
Type: Olivine Bronzite Chondrite, H6 Brecciated

This stone meteorite was found in 1942. At least 21 stones,
totaling 13.5 kilograms, were recovered. Slices display a
dark brown matrix with extensive metal flake disseminated
throughout Dimmitt is a very good representative sample of
H type chondrites.

Never published in the Meteoritical Society Bulletins but some information is available.
