Americanites are also known as Columblanites and are believed to be about 15 million years old. They where discovered by an archeologiest and, are gray to gray-rose colored. Americanites also come from Peru, Columbia, and the Philippine Islands. It is also believed by some that they are not tektites and probably terrestrial obsidians.
